In preparation for the 7th Congress of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC), Liaison Officers from AACC member institutions participated in an online coordination meeting on 27 August 2026. The meeting was organized by the AACC Permanent Secretariat for Planning and Coordination (SPC).
The meeting discussed various technical and operational aspects to ensure the readiness of member delegations for the 7th AACC Congress, scheduled to take place on 1–2 October 2026 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, under the theme “Constitutional Justice in the Context of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence”.
Discussions focused on finalizing preparations, including delegation participation procedures, the event programme, administrative coordination, as well as logistical arrangements and accommodation. These coordination efforts were essential to ensuring the smooth participation of all delegations throughout the Congress.
Furthermore, the meeting served as a platform for communication and coordination between the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as the host institution, and Liaison Officers from AACC member institutions. Through this forum, technical information was shared and coordinated to establish a common understanding of the requirements and preparations of each delegation.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of AACC member institutions to strengthening coordination and ensuring the readiness of the 7th AACC Congress. With coordinated preparations in place, the Congress was expected to proceed smoothly and provide a valuable platform for strengthening cooperation among constitutional justice institutions across Asia.
